Fraser Volunteer Association of Canada is a non-profit organization in Vancouver made up largely of volunteers and social advocates, including university and high school students, with a mission to support residents in need through practical service and community-focused programs.

PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT
“Above the Rainbow” remains a defining example of the association’s public role.
The About page cites the September 30, 2022 event as a major milestone. It focused on Indigenous culture and was presented as a way to encourage broader attention to Indigenous past, present, and future while strengthening friendship between the Chinese community and Indigenous peoples.
That example matters because it shows the association is not only volunteering in the abstract. It uses public programs as a bridge between cultural understanding and community participation.
PUBLIC EDUCATION
The association's drug awareness guide now has a dedicated web edition.
To make the poster series easier to read on mobile and desktop, the site now includes a standalone public education page based on the original PDF. Visitors can read the guide online and still download the printable version.
